[xk] Gas tank removal problems » I am trying to remove the gas tank from my XK140 dhc. All 4 sets of tank mounting nuts have come off nicely, the metal fuel line at the front of the tank has been disconnected, and the red rubber fuel filler tube disconnected. Exhaust tailpipes are removed. Wires to the fuel level sender unit have been disconnected. Now I am really confused about the 4.2L Series 1 E-type cooling system design. Radiator is cross flow type. Outlet from thermostat on intake manifold goes into the expansion tank.
