[xk] XK 140 Fuel Gauge/sender » Hi, I'm working on a 140 DHC, with which I am not all that familiar. Problem was inoperative fuel gauge, Empty warn lamp on all the time. Owner sourced a new Sender, so I took the old Sender out. The float was full. Tested the new Sender and it isn’t showing a varying resistance. I took the gauge out and connected it to the old Sender, the warn lamp works, and I am measuring a voltage changing pretty smoothly with Position on the Sender, but the needle on the gauge isn’t reacting… u… Forums.jag-lovers.com
